Privacy Policy

• Your Stake login, balance, bets, and dice rolls never leave your machine. We can't see them.
• To sell and manage a license we handle your email, your license key, and a non-reversible device fingerprint.
• Payments are handled by a third-party processor — we never receive your full card or wallet details.
• We don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising trackers.

Through the website and licensing service we process:

• Email address — to deliver your license key and let you manage your devices without an account.
• License & purchase data — your license key, plan (monthly/lifetime), status, and the date of purchase.
• Device fingerprint — a stable, one-way hash that identifies a device for the 3-seat limit. It is not reversible and is not your name, serial number, or location.
• Payment metadata — a transaction reference and plan, returned by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers or crypto keys.
• Basic technical logs — e.g. IP address and timestamps for security and abuse-prevention (rate limiting), kept briefly.

The desktop app is read-only and local. It does not transmit to us, and we do not collect:

• your Stake username, password, or session;
• your balance, deposits, withdrawals, or bet amounts;
• your dice rolls, seeds, or any of the analytics computed from them.

All of that is stored only in a local database on your own device. If you uninstall the app, it stays with you.

• deliver your license key and give you access to the download;
• let you activate, view, and deactivate your devices;
• process your payment and any renewal;
• provide support and prevent fraud or abuse of the licensing system;
• comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

• performance of a contract — to deliver and manage the license you bought;
• legitimate interests — to secure the service and prevent abuse;
• legal obligation — to keep tax and transaction records;
• consent — for any optional communications, which you can withdraw at any time.

We share the minimum necessary with service providers who act on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes above:

• a payment processor / merchant of record (to take payment);
• an email provider (to send your key and account emails);
• cloud hosting and database providers (to run the website and licensing).

We do not sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.

We keep license and purchase records for as long as your license is active and for as long afterwards as we need to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Security logs are kept only briefly. You can ask us to delete data we are not legally required to retain.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@diceradar.app from your purchase email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

The website uses only what it needs to function — for example, remembering that you confirmed you are 18+. We do not use advertising cookies. If we ever add product analytics, it will be privacy-respecting and disclosed here.

Access to license data is restricted to server-side systems and protected by row-level-security and signed, verifiable license tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but the local-first design means the most sensitive data — your gameplay — is never in our hands to begin with.

The Service is for adults 18+ only and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
